June. We’re halfway through the year and in Gemini season. The mid-year mark is a time of great shifts and the themes of this years shifts have been creeping up on us, even days before the recent new moon in Gemini. Collectively, we are feeling anxious, wanting to strike, but not quite sure the best way to do it or if we even should. I watched an amazing video last night from Yashica’s Intuition and she hit the nail on the head. She urged us not to make any big decisions right now because we don’t have all of the information yet. The full picture has not presented itself. We must master patience and the ability to go with the flow so that we don’t wind up sabotaging the good things that are trying to manifest themselves into our lives. In other words, slow your roll… you don’t need to have the answers. It’s about staying present. Keep your past in the past and stop worrying about the future. All things will unfold the way they’re supposed to. Let’s give up the need for control.
As an emotionally charged Scorpio, these ideas go against almost every part of my being. I don’t do grey area, I have a need to control the energy around me, I’m more introspective and observant than I am a talker, I react to things (negatively) because of things that have happened to me in my past, and I let my vision of the future overshadow the now. Oh, and I (used to) put everyone else before me. Truthfully, however, I noticed these things in myself over a year ago and started working on them through meditation practice, which right there, allowed me to start making commitments to myself before others. I have grown tremendously in that sector. I come first. And right before the Gemini new moon, I got a healthy dose of everything else that still needed to shift.
Let’s take a moment to break down the numerology for 2019.
2+0+1+9 = 12
1+2=3
2019 is a “3” year which means that good things are on the horizon. In previous years, you’ve gone through some painful growth and lessons to be able to truly manifest and appreciate the good. This 3 year will give you the courage to express yourself, self-motivate, and take action. It will be a year of good luck. And with all this goodness on the horizon, the mid-year mark is here to challenge our normal patterns so that we are truly prepared for what’s coming our way.
Now, knowing that, back to the themes you should be paying close attention to in order to receive all that good fortune.
Communication
What do you want? How do you feel? I’m sure you don’t appreciate when people think you’re a mindreader, so be careful that you’re not doing that to others. Body language, words, and actions are misinterpreted all the time, so it’s very important, especially now, that we learn to be clear and concise. We must learn to speak up even when it’s scary or uncomfortable. Speak your truth, but conversely, allow others to speak their truth as well. How we listen and even respond to others are all part of how we communicate. Are you truly listening and understanding or are you creating your own story? Is your response an emotional reaction or based on logic? Also, remember, if you don’t know what to say, that’s ok! Take the time to process. Allow others to take their time to process. We should say what we mean and mean what we say and sometimes that can’t happen in that moment.

Patience
The definition of patience is: the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset. That’s asking a lot, right?! When you are truly patient, you are tapping into faith, not fear. We all know a seed doesn’t turn into a tree overnight, so why do we think the good things in our lives should bloom that quickly? You’ll never know if something is going to work out if you give it a premature death sentence. Give everything time to grow organically and understand that you don’t have anything to lose, but everything to gain. What is meant to be, will always be.

Commitment
Be loyal and unwavering when it comes to your goals. Stay faithful and devoted to what it is you’re going after. If you set the alarm, get up. If you scheduled time for yourself, honor it. We owe ourselves the dedication and focus to start the new project or finish one that we’ve already started, to go after our dreams, try something new, to put in the spiritual work on ourselves, or to simply have more fun. Whatever you need or want, commit to getting it. This doesn’t take away your freedom to change course, incorporate more things, or reevaluate; the firm commitment to your vision means simply not allowing yourself to stop or throw in the towel.

Presence
It’s ok that something in your past still affects you today. It’s ok that you’re super excited for the future you’re working on building. It’s not ok to live in either of those places. Life is happening now and there is always something good to acknowledge in the current moment. Don’t let the pain of your past or the fear of your future overshadow what you currently have. Presence requires an attitude of gratitude and the release of expectation. Your presence will heal the past and open doors for the future.

Balance
You can have it all… the career, the house, the spouse, friends, travel, kids… but without boundaries for each, you’ll be overwhelmed and your personal energy/life will feel out of whack. Balance starts with the relationship you have with yourself. In order to give quality attention and care to everything else, you must care for yourself first. You can’t pour from an empty cup. It’s figuring out what makes you feel at peace and in harmony spiritually, physically, and emotionally while you’re spinning plates in the air. Balance will be different for every individual, but at it’s core I believe it’s based on priorities and efficiency.

You will either align with your highest potential through your conscious energy work or you won’t. Do or do not. There is no try. (Yoda is smarter than all of us) I believe, the first step in this shift is learning to show gratitude for what you have. Again, don’t let what you want down the road to overshadow what you have right now. You may have a job that allows you to time to work on your own projects, you may have amazing people surrounding you right now, whatever it is, that is where your happiness lies. Happiness is not in your future. Happiness is in fleeting moments. It takes a huge shift in consciousness to live in the now and not for the future or in the past.
If your plan was to kick ass and take names this year, to manifest your wildest dreams and desires, you have to put in the work concerning communication, patience, commitment, presence, and balance. Without this awareness, you may drown in your own visions. All of this work takes conscious effort to push through fear. Fear will sabotage you every time. Work through love and I guarantee you, you will be living more abundantly by month 12. You are here to grow and learn; put in the work and shift.
