I need a restart, how about you?
I’m finally at a point where I am content with my body, but that doesn’t mean I don’t strive for continued improvement for my health and wellness. Many of you who know me personally know this… I started my health journey at a whopping 168 lbs, size 12+ (I’m only 5′ tall, so that’s no bueno) At one point during my journey, I was 108lbs at my lightest and in a size zero pant. How I got there wasn’t healthy physically or mentally and I still wasn’t happy, either. It took gaining some weight back to teach me that happiness is not found in a size. It also taught me that being thin doesn’t necessarily mean you’re healthy, and living a healthy lifestyle doesn’t necessarily make you thin.
Currently, I do not know what I weigh. I happen to think the scale is the devil and pretty much lead me down the wrong path when it came to my journey to health and happiness. I am now a size 4 pant. I am still so far from where i started and I’m proud of that. With a job that sometime demands long hours, my biggest challenge is maintaining a workout schedule. My nutrition isn’t bad, but it could be better.
As a person who lives by her checklists and calendar, I’m pretty disciplined when it comes to programs. But, finding the right program is key for me. I don’t want to starve myself, I don’t want to eat anything with crazy chemicals, and I don’t want to have to jump up and down like a maniac for an hour to workout. Been there, done that, and I’m over it. I want to be nurtured, that’s why I love Arbonne’s 30 Days to Healthy Living and Beyond. It gives you the push you need to restart. It’s a simple meal plan + 30 minutes of exercise a day. I can do that. You can do that.
What I love about it is that it’s simple and easy to maintain. It’s the restart that becomes a lifestyle change. No need to count calories, adjust points, or increase your workout time… you simply adjust your diet and fitness once and make the promise to yourself to continue.
Below, I have included a link to the downloadable PDF that gives more in depth information about the program and why it works so well.
I’m not about pushing products I don’t believe in. If something has my stamp of approval, I will promote it. The choice is yours. So don’t feel pressured! One of the things I want to point out is you can start your personal journey 3 ways:
1. Follow this plan 100%. Buy the supplements, adopt the meal plan, and workout 30 minutes a day.
2. Buy the protein powder only, adopt the meal plan, and workout 30 minutes a day.
3. Just adopt the meal plan and workout 30 minutes a day.
Also, good to know is that their products are vegan, non-gmo, and naturally derived. As someone who doesn’t eat land animals, I have to make sure I’m still getting my protein. A shake in the morning is my secret! Most protein powders on the market are full of chemicals and fillers. My advice? If you can’t pronounce most of this ingredients, it’s probably not worth putting it in your body. Not only do I appreciate the ingredient list in my Arbonne Chocolate Protein Powder, It tastes AMAZING.
