No matter your political affiliation, it’s pretty fucking awesome that a woman ran for president and got as far as she did. That’s why I think the future is female. To ensure this, I think there are a few things we need to do and focus on in 2017.
1.Go after your dreams. Work hard. And please, for the love of God, don’t try getting a leg-up by spreading yours. (yea, I said it.)
2.Stop tearing down other women. There’s room for everyone to be awesome. Envy isn’t a good look on anyone.
3.Practice more self-love. Build yourself up; don’t beat yourself down.
4.Lean in. Stand up. And stop letting men dictate what we do!
5.Stop putting everything on a timeline. Go with the flow and be more Zen.

I like the idea of practicing more self love, without that , we really cannot give to anyone else.
I am really trying hard to work on number 5. I try so hard to plan everything out, but it makes life so BORING. I am such a planner and I need to let go of being so sometimes. For the sake of my husband especially!!!

Yes for WOMEN, and we should help one another to empower each other. But this support have limits.. if a WOMAN is such a monster, the hell NO! Let’s not support a WOMAN who spreads monstrosity just because she’s a woman.

I have to agree with you on so many levels! I think many of us women are so scared of someone going above us, but the truth is, we’re not going above anyone. We’re working side-by-side and building our own tribe. I’ve seen this with other bloggers, too. One thing I tell myself whenever I feel discouraged is that my story is a lot different than someone else’s based on my experiences and perception of the things I’ve seen.
Go after whatever makes you happy!

I say well said. Women do need to build each other up vs tear each other down.
Number two is unfortunately what brings down other women in general. But I guess that factor’s present in other circumstances as well. Also, I really think Hillary won the people.
