Good Vibes Bag
Good Vibes Bag

I’ve talked about the fakers and the doers in another blog. They are people that either talk a lot of game or they’re actually working hard and doing things. When it comes to achieving your goals, it’s important to set intentions by speaking and writing what you want. I’ve watched the documentary The Secret about a dozen times. The Secret addresses the law of attraction. What you put into the world, you get back. Your thoughts are vibrations and have the ability to attract the things, but if you don’t actively work for your goals, will you achieve them?

Every year for New Year’s, I write down my goals for the year in the back of my new day planner and in my book of intentions. At the end of each year, I look to see how many I can cross off my list. Because I know I have these goals in two places, I can easily check up on myself throughout the year. Am I saving money like I said I would? Have I started allocating more time to myself? The more I refer to my list, the better I can plan and act on my goals. Without action, that list is just dreams. Maybe they’ll come to fruition and maybe they won’t, but I know if I make a plan, the more likely I will achieve.

Since I lost weight 6 years ago, I’ve wanted to start a website and blog to help others see their potential. I wrote this down and for year, this was never crossed off my list. Why? I was sabotaging myself. First, I doubted myself and my ability to help other people. Then, I didn’t have the time. Lastly, I wasn’t in perfect shape to be guiding people to better themselves. Those negative thoughts put out a negative vibration and kept me from achieving something that I wanted. Self-doubt is your worst enemy. Have confidence in yourself. Always. I didn’t have time? What I didn’t have was time management. Thanks to the help of my editor, I’ve been able to schedule my busy work life as a producer, working out, maintaining this blog, and writing a book all at the same time. And would you believe I still get 8 hours of sleep? When you want something bad enough, you make time for it. And for my last point, don’t wait for the perfect moment… perfect moments never come. I struggled with starting this blog when I wasn’t in my best shape any more. But truth be told, the best lifestyle coaches and fitness trainers are CONSTANTLY working on themselves. What we do is a journey, not a destination. I’m on the journey with you, but because I’ve been on this path for a while, I have really good directions! Haha

Don’t let your goals and intentions become empty dreams. Go after them! You have to chase them. If you dream of being a successful blogger like I did, find people that motivate you and start. Just start. Don’t wait. There is great potential inside of you, so unlock it. If you knew how powerful your thoughts are, you’d never think another negative thought. Plan out your future and the steps you need to take to get there. In the words of Ronda Rousey, don’t be a “do nothing bitch”. As each year passes, I’ve been able to cross more and more things off my list. It’s time for you to do the same.
