I need a restart, how about you?

I’m finally at a point where I am content with my body, but that doesn’t mean I don’t strive for continued improvement for my health and wellness. Many of you who know me personally know this… I started my health journey at a whopping 168 lbs, size 12+ (I’m only 5′ tall, so that’s no bueno) At one point during my journey, I was 108lbs at my lightest and in a size zero pant. How I got there wasn’t healthy physically or mentally and I still wasn’t happy, either. It took gaining some weight back to teach me that happiness is not found in a size. It also taught me that being thin doesn’t necessarily mean you’re healthy, and living a healthy lifestyle doesn’t necessarily make you thin.

Currently, I do not know what I weigh. I happen to think the scale is the devil and pretty much lead me down the wrong path when it came to my journey to health and happiness. I am now a size 4 pant. I am still so far from where i started and I’m proud of that. With a job that sometime demands long hours, my biggest challenge is maintaining a workout schedule. My nutrition isn’t bad, but it could be better.

As a person who lives by her checklists and calendar, I’m pretty disciplined when it comes to programs. But, finding the right program is key for me. I don’t want to starve myself, I don’t want to eat anything with crazy chemicals, and I don’t want to have to jump up and down like a maniac for an hour to workout.
